Well, I need to adjust the clutch on one of my z's. The cable has run out of adjustment, so guess I need to adjust the clutch itself. Have 2 manuals, Haynes and Yami Shop Manual. Read them both and think I have a handle on it. Any tricks I need to know about? Also it says align the arm with the edge of the crankcase. Which side of the arm, inside or outside?

Thanks,
Whiteman

First off I got the clutch. Works good now. The manual came off e-bay. It is called YTZ250N Owner's Manual and Service. The # is: P/N LIT-11626-04-40 Mine was printed in 84. Hope this helps.

It is for the 85. The 85 is YTZ250N. The 86 is YTZ250S. The released the 85 in late 84. When they came out the printed up thte shop manual then in late 84.
