Tri Z rear shock question... need an answer please.

Will a 2002 Warrior, or any year Warrior shock bolt up to a Tri Z???? Need a for sure answer, I'm about to drop some dough. You guys never let me down.

Yes, any year WARRIOR shock will work. Make sure its not a raptor 350 shock, the piggyback res won't clear anything. If you still have your stock Z shock reservoir, I can build you a frankenshock...Then the bleak warrior shock will at least be compression adjustable, and look stock!

Gotcha, I did not know there is no compression adjustment on the warrior shock, I'll let you know my situation when I get the hardware, good stuff, thanks.

a raptor 660 rear shock can be an option. 2001 and maybe the 02 had the remote resi vs the later raptors that had the built in resi

there is a screw on the bottom of the warrior shocks to adjust compression.... I run many of these shocks.

Raffa, that screw on the bottom of a warrior shock is a rebound adjustment...It may SEEM like it works as a compression adjustor, but that is because without a rebound seperator nut installed, the 2 circuits overlap. Basically, the rebound will have an effect on the compression when its cranked in far enough.

Ive run the warrior shock...MAYBE for someone your size and "gumby-ness" it's alright, but definately sub par...Even compared to a banshee shock, the valving in a warrior is crude at best!

I dont think hes trying to win the monster energy supercross 6000 on his z. And most people dont understand the difference no know how to adjust for rebound or compression.

Ok boys, I'm Just trying to save the guy from some spine tinglers and a cracked swinger...not telling him to spend $1000s on suspension either. Just INFORMING a fellow rider of the BETTER options for a tri-z replacement shock. I'm a big guy, so yeah, suspension means a bit more to me, so I have done my homework on cheap performance suspension for the Zs....and a warrior shock isn't one of them.
