Hey New to the Board


I bought this bike 4 days ago and i am new to 3 wheelers..i have prevously owneda 88 suzuki RM80. i went and picked this three wheeler up for $35 dollars,the guy said the motor will run but it aint gettin any fire, it needs a coil, but is there any points in the engine that would be worn out an need replacing?? If u could tell me how to do it and what parts i would need to buy would be appreciated...One more question what king of oil yall run in a 4 stroke??

great price on the bike, when you say points, like the points in behind the stator? or points like oh, the coil, thats a key point to an engine?

either way, i think i would chek the coil, spark plug, and your electricls

The guy i bought it off of sayed it may need a new stator...whould this be hard to fix??

JW125M - nothings that hard to fix if you have a manual, read it thoroughly, take your time and don't rush. (By the way, replacing a stator is an easy task) Look through the classifieds here or look on eBay.

Does my local Honda Shop have a manuel or can they order one im going there tommrow..

I Feel Stupid, For Some Reason I Didn't See That About The Year Of Bike :oops: .
And Yes Its Very Easy To Replace A Stator....As The Manual Goes...I Got Mine From ebay
It Only Cost Me $5.00 + $3.50 Shipping

I run 10w40 in all of my bikes, but it may depend on were you live, it dosen't get all that cold here in S.E. Virginia

i was running 20w 30 in my 200x because of an oil leak..... didnt seem to bother it even in winter
