Well, it's exactly what the title says. I saw an ad on Cl thursday for a parts 125m frame with a 90 motor, along with 7 extra wheels, tires, and 2 axles. I originally was needing just the fender, but then I started thinking (a scary thought in itself). By the end of it, I brought this home.

The trike here is on a 1985 125m frame, and came with a seized 1985 110 motor.

It was setting under a tree, and was covered in mud, tree sap, and mold. The PO bought it in a package from a guy who used to race 90's, and this was the parts unit left over from a three trike package deal. For me, the hitch was a major selling point in itself; I do a lot of towing around my property.

The front fender is slightly cracked, but I have plastic welding equipment.

Of course, what CL find is complete without trailpros

Just to ask, anyone seen these? They appear to be generic trailpros (as if the real thing wasn't bad enough)

This is by far one of the worst rear fenders I have ever seen. I am cutting it up to use as plastic welding material.

Onto the wheels. Some of them are a smaller 4 bolt pattern, while some are a larger 4 bolt pattern. There are also 2 axles of unknown origin.

This needs no explanation

I don't think my plug should be covered in mud  I'm pulling the top end tomorrow

Just because I could, I threw on the busted rear fender, my old tank and a seat just to inspire myself

So here is the plan for this one: Tomorrow, I'm stripping the frame and coating it with this
http://www.kbs-coatings.com/frame-coater-kit.html
It will then receive the motor, front fork, and wheels/tires from my 110 (since it is on an 81 frame). Its frame, along with the remaining spare parts, will give me enough parts to build an 81. So, by the end of this I will end up with two 110's. What have I got myself into?

I contemplating picking that up, saw it on CL Thursday as well, but I just got a 185 (with a 200 motor) of CL for 100 bucks, in very great shape. Glad to see it went to an enthusiast though. Did you see the Tri-Z for sale in Mt. Juliet? Looks like it could be had fairly cheap....

Your not too far from me, if you ever want to get a ride together hit me up!

I hadn't seen it until you pointed it out, but I think I'll be in the hole enough after these;). Maybe sometime I can take you up on your offer, right now I just need to get something in one piece!

I'm a craigslist trike junkie, like I'm always afraid I'm going to miss something!

As far as that axle goes, it looks EXACTLY like the one on one of my 185's, I can get a length if you really want to know.
