For starters, why are you starting off in second gear? My 125's are both slow as hell. Its a 125 bro

it had way more power before. i toke the engine apart 5 year ago because my 2e gear was blown and just pout it back together a mount ago. could the carb make the trike lose power ? when i was ruining it 5 year ago i had 25 inch tire and it had more power then now and i only have 22 now.

First thing I would do is a compression check. Just me but first off it is only a 125 and second stuff does get old and tired.

Check ignition timing with a timing light!

I had the same problem with my '85 110 several years ago and that's when I learned that alot of the older/smaller Hondas have adjustable ignition timing.

Hooked a timing light to a battery I had sitting around, and the unductive clamp around the plug wire and through the timing peep hole you could see the timing mark on the flywheel, just like checking timing on an older automotive engine.

Timing is adjusted up top and I wouldn't recommend trying to adjust it with the engine running. Make an adjustement, then refire the engine to check where it is.

My 110 was running just like yours and thats all it was. I'm pretty sure the 125 has the same setup
