Hey everyone. My 1984 200x is going back together soon, and i am wondering how much i should jet up. The trike has stock piston, DG RCM exhuast and a K&N air filter. Just a rough idea, because as many of you know, jets aren't cheap. I just don't want to have to keep on buying jets. Thanks in advance for anyone who answers.

if you get the right carb rebuild kit from ebay it will have different sized jets. I would go 1 maybe 2 sizes bigger than the size your taking out of the carb when you open it to clean it. your not goign to need much change really.

they normally come with a 108 and 110 mainjet

So your saying the 110 jet might be good enough? Thanks.

i would think so considering its a stock bore with a pipe. put the 110 in and ride up a medium grade hill in 2nd or 3rd gear and if it doesnt bog at 1/2 to full throttle your fine. also just a heads up make sure your oil pump is in good working order and the passages are clear before you get it all together or you will end up like me lol just a thought.

Thanks a lot. Just that in this area of Canada you can't buy jets locally, and it takes a while to get them in. So i figure i better make sure i have everything ordered before it all goes back together.
