You don't want any air pressure. Try some 15w fork oil and if that does not help you can add pvc spacers or Dennis Kirk sells progressive springs.

I put 1.5 inch pre-load spacers in my 86 350x forks and that helped a ton. The 350's forks are really soft stock.

I got the Progressive Springs, new seals, and then went with a 15Wt Oil in my forks on the 'Showgirl" ..... what a huge difference! It doesn't sink 4" when I just sit on the bike anymore! hahahahha

If you just want spacers go over to home depot or other hardware store and buy some pvc pipe. I found 1.5 inch pieces for 50 cents that fit perfect in the forks (used the same ones on my tri z). All you do it take the caps off the forks (have the front end lifted off the ground) put the spacers in and re-install the caps. You'll have to push down firmly to get the caps to reach the threads.

Make sure all air is out of the forks before you remove the caps. I was draining 200x fork oil out one time, this is done by removing the 8 or 10mm bolt on the back of the forks, and there was air pressure in them, I was covered in ATF, and it didn't feel too good in the eyes.
