Going to need new brake pads for both ends of my 200X. Went to rockmountainatv and got a listing of carbon, metallic, sintered, tupperware, etc.

How do I know which ones to go with? I'm sure durability, longevity, heat are all factors of which to get, but what material is known for what factor?

brake pads are something to NOT skimp on. I learned this the hard way riding at trikefest last year in the mud, and nearly wore a set of cheapies clean through the backing plates (which would have ruined the piston) in one trip, even though they were new when I started out. I would buy some good sintered metallic pads for your bike. They might run you 30 bucks now, but when they last twice to three times as long as the cheap pads, it's well worth the 10 extra bucks. I have ridden many trips on my sintered pads that I put on the rear of my 350x and they look nearly new.
