200s rebuilt carb issues

just rebuilt my OEM 200s carb because it was leaking i got a moose rebuild kit from my local dealer rebuilt it but i am having an issue . i set everything according to factory specs . i kept my old main jet because it was larger for a high compression piston . i am having a bog down issue off idle that goes away when i use half choke . i am not too familior with carbs or how to tune them properly it also pops a little at idle. where should i start ti clear this up ? thanks

If your having to use the choke that means more fuel... Set your mixture screw until she is smooth and you should be ok, provided your jets and carb are nice and clean.

Like kb0nly said you dont have enough fuel and the service manual helps alot too.
