My Current 87 200X "project"...

Heres what I've got it to so far. Can't go any farther without the parts I need (Which are: a Rear end off something, a Clutch lever, an Electrical System, and Rear Fenders). Im sure alot of you remember my X....yes, this is the same machine!

Current Features:
-Silver Frame (Can't recall the real name of the paint)
-250R Front End w/ White 250R Fender
-CBR900f4i Front Master Cylinder
-Ready to accept my ATC250R Rear Shock (86)

Im aimin to have this done around the holidays.

Is that a 350x fuel tank?

Nope..Thats an 87 200X Tank, which were actually a bit larger than 350X Tanks. The 86/87 200X's were basically a baby 350X if you look at it that way.

what does the 250r shock do? is it different than a regular 200x shock

How are you going to do the rear? 250r complete rear end? or are you going to adapt the shock? Either way its gonna be sweet when you done.

I finally got a 350x shock in my x and I love it.

The 250R shock has both rebound and dampening adjustments. The 200X I beleive is just rebound, or is it just dampening.

The 200X shock has no adjuster on the remote resevoir.

Thanks for the compliments, Everyone. Its pretty naked right now as You see, Can't wait to get her dressed up and going.

If anyone can help me out with the parts I need (i.e. selling them to me ;) ), I'd be very appreciative. I need a Carb off any year 200X, an 86/87 200X Electrical System, Let me know what Rear Ends youve got, Rear Fenders in White for 86/87 200X's, Tank Flares for 86/87 X's, and Footpegs off any 200X or 350X.

Looks good so far. I have a pair of 350x footpegs. The right on is bent a little but....they are footpegs pm me if your interested :D

looks good man, its got the same style of gas tank as my 86, the 200X is a great machine i think, mine is quick, reliable, and looks good, plus, it spanks my bro's quad, which he hates!!
