hello all just thought i would share some of my experiance with all you guys. A few months ago i traded a honda 300ex for my tri z 157815brought it home went to work came home tow days later to this 157816 soafter seeing this i decided to do a complete ter down and see what i had 157817 157818. got it all apart and took the motor to my top notch motor builder (ride_red_250r aka brother in law) and found out she was in bad shape needed a tranny, cylinder piston ect ect. So got all the parts for it and put the motor back together last weekend and this is what she looks like now 157819 157820.Theres still along way to go and im gonna take my time and do it rite the first time. I will post more pics as i go, thanks for looking.

and a great big thank you to mosh and 03 orange shee and ride red 250r for the parts and expert knowledge couldnt have done it without ya thanks:beer

What kind of front tire is that? I've been looking at a Carlisle tire from Dennis Kirk that looks similar. Looks good on yours.

Well, we got together today and put a stock '85 250r (Keihin PE34)carb on the ol' Z. Jetting seems to be good, runs good and strong, but the plug shows that it is safely rich. She runs real good, no problem carrying a good wheelie up through the gears.... I think at some point he is going to be looking to get a PWK38 for it, but for the time being, the old PE34 seems to be a pretty good improvement over the stock unit..

Braap Braaaapp!
