250r 34 to 38mm carb HELP

i got the 38 flatside PJ kihen, the main jett is a 185, and the pilot is a 45 i think...not worried about that, but i looked at the slide, is the needle clip adjustable on these? i cant figure out how to get to the needle clip...thanks its an 85 atc 250r

The needle comes out the top of the slide. Take the cap off, pull the slide out and remove cable. The PJ has a retainer that fits in a slot, push and turn it 1/4 or 1/2 turn, take it out and it will reveal the needle. Adjust by moving the clip on the needle slots.

.... Wouldn't be all that time consuming to try either way til u find which one works. I mean I'm thinking to figure that question out could be all of 3 seconds when it doesn't turn one way and then u have to stop then switch turning direction.
