Ive got a 1983 Honda atc 110. I'm pretty sure that the front sprocket on it is worn down beyond use - the teeth aren't curved, there gone. Ive downloaded 2 service manuals but neither says how to remove the front sprocket. I feel the range selector has to be removed, but the screws are stripped so i don't want to go about grinding them until I'm sure i need to. Thanks in advance to anyone who can tell me how to get to and remove the sprocket.

It should be in the service manual. It's part of the transmission. You have to remove the left side cover to get at it. It's time consuming but not overly hard

Check out chapter 1 in here

Thanks, I didn't happen to have that particular manual. Looks like I will be grinding all the stripped screws off the sub trans and flywheel housing. The sprocket on the 185s could be removed in a minute or two, this seems like an all day project.
