I bought this 1985 200x for $100 about a year ago. It didn't run cause he had the motor partly apart and said it needed a new clutch. So I put a clutch in from one of my parts bike and got it back together and it fired right up. Put some new plastic on it and it is starting to look better now. Also new rims, and a new seat thanks to Mrs. Mosh. The girl friend is pretty excited as she is going to drive it.

Sounds like a good deal for $100, with the 87 200x decals it's kind of in disguise ;).

I know it turned out pretty good with the 2nd gen rear fender. Plus with 3rd gen 250r front. I just got to heat the seat up so it fits a little nicer to the tank.

I never see any $100 ones here either. I totally fluked out seeing this one it was only online for not even an hour. I am just glad the 2nd gen plastic fitted on it.

I have thought about doing the 2nd gen look on a 1st gen but never kept a 200x long enough to do it. I think that is the best looking (1987) plastics etc. on a 200x. Just my opinion though. Really looks nice. thanks for sharing.

I think you made a good choice with those fenders. I like all years of the 200x colors but I like 86 -87 the best.
