4x156 Honda Hubs ?? on a tecate axle

So I jumped in on a Tecate +4 axle buy but the axles are being cut with Honda 250r splines which I like cause I can run smaller rims when need be. However I would love to still run the rim and tire combo's I have now and was wondering if there were hubs that would have Honda 250r splines and a 4x156 bolt pattern?? Anyone know of such a part?

You might search for 4x155 bolt pattern stuff as well. I think that pattern is a bit more common and usually you can make the 155 and 156 stuff work together with a little coaxing.

We use yamaha hubs on honda axles all the time. The old 89/90 banshee's had a 4x156 pattern and might work. Few times we had to make a small spacer because the yamaha hubs are not as deep and the axle nut will bottom out before the hub is tight. Another thing is the the yamaha hub fits tight on the honda spline, but i have only done this with used parts that had some wear on them, never tryed it on a new axle.

If it has 85-89 ATC/TRX 250R splines, none of those will fit.

Hmmm... I must be confused here. I could've sworn the second gen Tecate hubs had the same splines as R axles.

The 81-84 250r has a smaller spline than the 85-89 250r.

350x and 250r splines are bigger.I agree. 86-88 Tecate hubs are too small to fit over the 85-89 250R axle splines. I tried it back in 1988.

The r hubs are 25 spline... Only other honda with that spline count is the 350x

oh, sorry you are rigth, of course the atc&trx 250r and 350x splines are bigger. didn't think of that because i run a trx 300 axle in my 350x. but all other honda hubs are the same splines as the 2nd gen t3 and t4's. but i think if they say honda splines they mean the smaller ones? much more hub possibilities here...
