hi i have a 84 honda atc 70 bough it as a roller so i deiced to put a lifan 125 motor into it , once i got it all hooked up and running ( runs like a clock) . where the motor is for the mini bikes not trikes the kick start kicks back and i currently jump start it , i was wondering if anyone has ever done this and how they got the kick start to work i know that i can put the left side casing and pull cord and sarter cup off the 70 motor for the pull start but where i bough it as a roller i don't have the motor and the pull start assembly is about 150-200 on ebay , anyone got any ideas?

Be a little creative. You can heat and bend it so you can pull it back with your hand. The kickstarter can be set up to stay at rest by the footpeg.

I made wheel spacers for mine, and cut the fenders.

If you index it more toward the front, it will help out. I cut mine on my old 90cc motor and reworked it to kick to the rear. Works pretty good. Still may bump a stock uncut fender though but barely. There was a thread a long wile ago?? Maybe I can find it.

I did the same... sorta... I used 400ex hubs and 3x5 offset 8" quad rims, still had to cut the fender :(, but the kicker cleared the rear tire. I like crazy70man's idea... shorten the kicker.
