atc 480r conversion

Hey guys. I have the opportunity to purchase a '82 cr 480 engine. My goal is to swap out my '84 atc 250r motor with this. I've read posts saying that it has been done before but I don't know the motor mounts for the cr480 vs my atc. I also don't know how tight it will be and what I would have to do for exhaust and what not. I'm curious to see the power I would get out of it too. If anyone has done this or seen it please offer some suggestions.

well if ya read its been done then get going on it willie... thats part of the fun figuring it out... did you try contacting the previous builders for help ?

I just need to know what to do about exhaust. What aftermarket will work with the conversion
