Want to get my supertrapp ceramic coated from xmas however the local place by me said they do Tech Line coating versus Jet Hot. Anyone know the difference or if one is better than the other?

Just looked at their site and they seem pretty expensive.

You could use a product called Belzona. Its a 2 PC. Epoxy type coating and comes in vatious types of coatings. It just may not be as smooth as a sprayed on type of coating.

Is the header & the rest of your system already ceramic coated ?
Just curious as to why would you want this part of your exhaust system ceramic coated when it's stainless steel ?
Heat retention ? Or is it purely for appearance ?

None of it is coated hence why I wanted it coated (header and end pipe). The coating helps protect the exhaust from such things as rust and helps dissipate heat.

I had the pipes I made for my Harley done there & for both pipes I believe the price was around $120.00 , mind you that was about 12 years ago so IDK how much more they charge now. They come out beautiful , when done though . Ready for ( regular paint or leave 'em as is ) installation.
& FYI The ceramic does protect the pipe , but does not " help dissipate " heat , it helps with heat retention making them feel cool to the touch while running .
Post up some pics after / if you decide to have it done , Jim .
