Is there any place cheaper to get progressive suspension for an 84 200x front end than their website? Just curious

You can look for deals on ebay, but the last set of NOS Progressive Springs I bought on ebay were wrongly posted so now I have a set of springs that don't fit anything I own and the best part is that I saved $20 bucks in the process of buying something I didn't need! My two cents: Buy your springs directly from them and you WILL save money over the other options out there because you will get what you need the first time.

Cut a 1.5 inch spacer using PVC pipe, a little smaller around than the outer diameter of the top spring inside the fork. It may be a little tricky to get the cap on, but as long as you didnt cut it too long, it will go with a little downward force and the front wheel raised off the ground. I did this to mine about 10 years ago, and I think it was a really awesome modification for about $2. I rebuilt the forks about a year ago, and the pvc pipe was still in perfect shape. The poor mans progressive spring.

I didn't even know progressive made springs for the 1st generation 200X. They are expensive but I may just get a pair. Thanks for helping me spend more money.

My wife's way ahead of you, she gave me two pieces of PVC, and said with the money she'd saved she was going shopping.:lol::lol:
