Paid $700 for it, runs and rides great! Just needs some headlight work so far. Totally abandoned my 250R project now.

looks like a pretty good score. a headlight from a kawasaki bayou 220\250 will fit.

Why does it seem like I am the only one who paid more than double that for my 85 tri-z!!!?

It was an impulse buy. Best impulse buy Ive ever made. And the worst. Cause I had to dump more money into mine from lack of checking it out thoroughly. I love my Z. Great find. $700 is a very good price.

don't feel bad, i paid around $700 for my z, but it was pretty clapped out:(

You guys have got it sweet i paid $3000 for my tri-z and the aussie dollars pretty much the same as the USD. Now thats painful... But worth every penny.

very nice, keep it running do a top end and change the water pump impeller with a pinned one

Ya, I couldn't pass it up. Missing headlight, tail light and air box was pretty much all I could find wrong. I haven't checked the plug yet, got some fresh fuel and I changed the trans oil to royal purple. Can't wait for ice!

I ordered a box, tube and boot. I have a manual but it doesn't have a good photo of the assembly, that I can find. The guy gave me a cage, and since I don't know these too well ( yet ) I assumed that was all I needed.

O yea I got the headlight from the seller he had it. I picked it up yesterday
