How is it that you replace the crank bearings? Is it something that you can do with just a press or do you need to take it to a shop? What tools are needed and how? Thanks.

take them to a shop. they will slide out of the cases but will be froze onto the crank. you need to press the cam sproket off the shaft also. if you need a set i have a new set in the box. and new cam guides.

I took mine to a guy i take all my stuff and we need to head them up with a torch and smack them off with a chizzel.

Well, with some help from a torch, pickle fork, hammer, and a slightly modified puller, I now have both bearings off. So now I just have to wait until I can get new ones.

Got it down that far you should replace the rod and bearing as well .
