Here are the pics of my weld on suspension 185s frame as requested.

That is pretty dang cool. New at this and for some reason I am really digging these old school bikes you guys have. I am wanting to put suspension under my 185.

The suspension 185s set ups seem to be getting harder to find. The best area to look at is out West. You have to inspect the welds, but expect there to be cracks. Also, the shocks and aftermarket front ends can expect to have to be rebuilt. So it takes a little involvement and real desire to resurrect some of these old beasties. Luckily, this frame is in pretty good condition. I did sell another frame to a board member that was a little tweaked out. Thankfully, he just transferred over the weld on section, with alot of careful cutting and rewelding and I tried to throw a couple nice pieces his way to compensate him for his efforts. Best of luck in your efforts to find a suspension 185s kit. They don't have quite the travel or toughness of a 200x, but to me, they are super cool.

I have the exact same set up. I bought it off a board member, I really need to get on putting it together. Mine is actually on a 200 frame, but I duplicated everything over to a 185s frame. Same swing arm as well.
