Got my 200x back together. Kicked a couple times and as i could feel it start to turn I could hear and feel "click click click" through the kicker. Also felt like it was kinda pushing back. Idk what tis means. I'm lost. Please help.

Did you have the kicker apart ? Their are dots that have to line up perfectly with the gears and shafts for it to work properly .

Yup. There aligned. It was starting before, then i had a lil mishap with a cam sprocket bolt, fixed that, and now this. I kinda felt it before but it was starting before. And now it seems more severe.

Is it working but slipping ? if so thats a common problem and the kicker needs fixed .

na I know about the 200x slipping issue. It does it once every 5 kicks or so. If it doesn;t progress i'll hold off on fixing that. This I can only describe as I kick it, foot down opn the end of the kick, engines starts to turn, and i feel a click click click and push backward on the kicker. And it seems to be stopping it from fully turning over and starting. I'm puzzled....

Checking the external part behind the outside kick cover for the dots. Really not feeling like I'm gonna stick it out if I gotta split the cases at this point.

took apart that part of the kicker. Dots were aligned. And i'm 99.99999% sure the innards are correct also. However in kicking it over after that i think i narrowed it down and figured it out. It was the cam chain skipping. I had noticed it seemed loose when i assembled but i adjusted the tensioner as tight as it goes and thought that must just be how it is. Now i gotta find out whats causing the looseness. I guess worn sprocket or chain tensioners are worn. Idk the sprocket teeth didn't look too beat. Any input on possible causes? Either way i'm so so so relieved. I can work with this. And it was starting easy and everything else seems to be all good.
