ok so really tough question, what throttle cable do i need for an 81 250r lol

So my R has been sitting dormant for like 6 months, needs all the new parts dialed in, but i need a throttle cable, its got the 34mm PJ and a polaris thumb throttle, it has been said a TRX250r cable will work, but that was said with the trx thumb throttle. anyone got a tech line number to motion pro, or any other cable maker so i can give them measurements? I feel like a dufus on this one, can rebuild an engine with my eyes closed. but just can't figure out how to pick the right cable lol....

I will give them a call, that's cheap enough.. i think i can save 10 bucks on that, but the question is is it worth it? prolly not...

have you called to all the local bike shops to see if they make cables? any place that makes cables cna make you a custom cable to fit, take the bike to them and let them make it work. probebly gonna cost you aroudn $65 but you will haev a perfectly matched cable.
BTW, shoulda used the TRX thumb throttle :P

well the polaris thumb throttle has been on there for a while, its what i got, going to talk to terry cable, cheap enough.. just another hour, then i will see what i have to do...

well.. neither won out.. i just recored my old cable and called it good.. for 12 bucks.. lol much better than 35..
