Tecate Questions

Well I picked up two Tecates, ones an 84 and the others an 85. Both were locked up, later finding out that the flywheel grenaded on one and lower end on the other. Here is my questions

1. Will a 1985 kx 125 ignitions system fit? I know the 250s will fit but has anyone tried the 125s?

2. Is there a way to repair cracked intakes? I know someone on the site reproduces them but anyone know his name and price of them? I searched but apparently im not good at finding info.

1. The subject of 125 or even 500 ignitions being used has been thrown around, but the timing wouldn't work well with the 250 motor. At least that is what I remember.. lol

2. http://www.3wheelerworld.com/member.php/136-jeswinehart sells the reproduced intakes. They are amazing. He also rebuilds flywheels and reproduces the oem chain sliders. Great guy to work with.
