Its a neat little item, has a hitch on it, though i don't know what they made to pull behind it. I dug through some legos and found a guy to toss on it and a little toolbox to put on the back... Damn these trikes are addictive even in miniature!!

Now I need to know what they designed it to pull with the hitch.
It's gonna bother me all day.
Maybe a miniature christmas tree?

I was wondering what it would have pulled to! Whatever it was had the old style lego ball hitch, because on the trike its a U shape with a half round divot in the top and bottom to accept that ball. I was a lego fanatic when i was younger, still even have my old legos from childhood, but i never seen a trike before.
I will have to search the forums now!
It does snap together, the lower gray half and the upper red half snap together, then the wheels pop on in the back and into the forks on the front. The steering pivots and snaps on as well.

this brings back memories when I was a kid I had a lego trike just like these but mine was white. if I remember it right it was a police trike it had a light post you could hook to the seat
edit: after a quick ebay search I found a instruction booklet for the little trike I had lol

Sweet! The black one looks nice!
I have seen one of those white police versions of them as well. Very neat! I have a full shelf of legos now, i brought all the old legos out of the box, they haven't see the light of day in some time, it was time for them to get a new home in the man cave.

This is awesome! I too was big into Lego in the mid eighties - strange I don't remember these little trikes. I still have a lego collection that my boys use, but there's only the mini dirtbikes in it. I see there's still plenty of these mini trikes for sale on eBay. Thanks for sharing kb0nly!

I picked this up about a year ago. Not Lego but it was a pretty cool find.
