Ok so its been a while i havnt been on the site due to my addiction ( FISHING :D ), Also ive been working after 5 years :), But i have a question it might be dumb but i have to ask, Im in the process of finishing my 300ES big red I just ordered a full wiring harness with CDI box alarm box and EVERYTHING, Now my question is, On the 300 fourtrax theres a pick up coil thats next to the stator that can come off without having to cut anything, WHAT does that pick up box do?????
Does it give the engine its spark? Once i get the wiring harness im gonna try n see if i get spark out of the engine before i go thru the mission of putting it into the big red, if u have any idea on what it does please let me know.
