are 85 and 86 250r axle bearing carriers the same? if not, what is the difference?

85 and 86 carriers are different, because of the way the brake caliper hooks up.The 85 caliper mounts to a bracket that is welded to the swingarm. And the 86 has a plate with a big hole that goes around the end of the carrier, and is held on with a big snap ring. hope this helps and does'nt confuse you more.
