Every single conversion I've done I've used the throttle cable off a 2006 TRX450R. You can use a air grinder and grind the throttle stop out a bit in the OE thumb throttles if thats what you only have.
If you want a thumb throttle that you just want to throw on there get one for a 06-08 trx450r.
Or occasionally you can find a good deal like this and it'll work like a charm.- http://www.ebay.com/itm/2006-TRX-450ER-THUMB-THROTTLE-and-CABLE-450R-/360489383864?pt=Motors_ATV_Parts_Accessories&hash=item53eed777b8&vxp=mtr
FCR's are a very very tight fit as well so in order to get the carb into the stock rubber boot, boil some water and throw the rubber boot in there. When you take take it out it should be pliable enough to slip over the male end on the carb.
If you have any more questions feel free to ask.
