Having a few Atc70's I have found it hard to find good air cleaner to carb rubbers. I can't find a Honda Parts Number to see if they are available, but I do know the air cleaner assembly ( rubber boot is on the assembly so I assume it came with it ).

Now I have made a few of these molded from one I had ( I can do custom colors ). I was just wondering if Honda sold them seperate and if so what is the part number.
Thanks
Howdy

As far as I know the only way to buy the rubber boots , you had to purchase the " air cleaner housing " here is the part#
17221-957-000
And yes long since discontinued .
This is a very good part that needs to be repoped .

Way too addicting. LOL

Mike, I am currently re-doing the mold for the Air Cleaner to carb. the original Mold I made is OK, but not Ok enough for me. ( Swiney has the bar set VERY high ). I am also working on the Mold for rubbers on the back side. I never realized the back was 2 piece. I'm guessing the inner part is used as a restricter plate and easily removed.

I have no need fo one since I am using a different engine intake ect. but I did notice when I got the trike that that piece was missing from the airbox but had a nice snorkel(for clean air off of the airbox.I am guessing that the reason the carb side doesn't survive is from fuel passing over it. On the same note I know some of the chinese quads use an identical airbox so that boot may be available already. but if I needed one I would call on you before china. nice work howdy.

I would probably take a few, just black. I know dratv sells em for the CT70 but I don't know about the ATC70. Would be nice to get them for SL70 and XL70 too.

Sounds good Howdy !! I'm in for a few when you get them done , seems like every atc70 that comes threw the shop is missing the front boot .

I have tried the china ones of similar style and the ct70 and their all the wrong angle .

Another option is to purchase the boot from dratv.com

http://www.dratv.com/bootcartoair.html

It is listed for the CT70 but I have used it on 4 atc70's and it is identical.

I've had both a ct70 and atc70 side by side and the boots are totally different angles . The one you say that fits from DRATV must be different than a normal ct? but thats great if it works .

I gave a OEM atc70 boot to a friend to use on his CT70 last year and he said it didn't fit properly. hmmmmmm

The DRATV boot is an aftermarket unit, the variance of fit might not be as exact as oem..maybe its made to fit a wide range of years of 70's but they all should be the same. It does fit the atc70 perfect if someone wants to use one, its been on my atc70's about 4 years now.

I believe it was a good 30 degrees off or so . I was in the same situation looking for a boot for my 1971 ct70 and the atc boot wasn't going to work .
