I took a short trip today to a last minute atv drag race with my bone stock 86 tecate and came home with 1st place in 200-400cc 2stroke. It was a small class but I knocked out 3 banshees and a modded scrambler 400. The best news is they want trikes! unfortunatly the next event (10/14)most of us racers in the area will be running a mx race just up the road. I will be working with the club for an april race and if enough guys show we can have our own class(s) 154191 If by any chance any of the airmx racers on 10/14 wanna pack up after the mx race and head 10 min. down the road to do a pass or two down the strip,let me know. I'm not keen on the Idea myself but if it can be planned ahead of time we can sqeeze in between sled classes shortly after getting there.

Heads up or index style? It was heads up with a standard drag tree .I basically got them with reaction time. mine were .54-.59 they were around .9-1.6 sec.I guess they didn't know to leave on the last yellow, I think they were waiting for the green.

I love showing up a drag a race where there are a bunch of young guys with their quads...who kind of laugh and snicker at the trikes when you pull up (the older guys know better, they usually have this disgusted look on their face), and then you get to race them, and afterwards they want to come over and take a closer look at what just spank them...Congrats on the win Ben!

Ben - that sounds like fun - I'd be very interested in bringing up my Trail 250R to run down the strip after the Air MX race on the 14th. If anyone one else is in - I'm in. What time are they running? Will it conflict with the MX race?

What time are they running? Will it conflict with the MX race?They start around 11-1130 but it is a snomobile only race and they could stick us in anywhere. They run until about 6pm so the mx race will be done.Like I said in my first post I'm not to keen on it myself,It's alot to tear down after a weekend of mx and get in race mode again haha but if others are interested I would do it. The drag is right in the village of arcade so it is very close. If others are up for it I can set it up but either way I will be working with them for the spring (april) race to get a class or two set up for us and possibly another in the fall of 2013.
