Question about Honda ATC wheel bolt pattern?

I am looking for a wheel spacer/adapter for my 84 200M in order to install a set of rear wheels from another of my Hondas.

The issue at hand is that I have located a set of adapter/spacers that are 4/156 to 4/110..

Now the thing is in every website I check for reference to verify, they state the proper bolt pattern for the 200M(and other similar Hondas) is 4/150..

What the heII is that about?? 3 different websites say the same thing..are they all wrong? There are no spacers for 4/150..anywhere!!

The bolt pattern really is 4/156?? I just want to be double sure before buying the spacers.

I found the same thing you did Doug. You may already know this, but you can measure across from middle of stud to middle of stud to verify the dimension.:

Measure from the center of one bolt hole (or stud if it is still one the bike) across the axle hole to the center of the bolt hole on the other side. You need this number in millimeters (mm). If your tape measure does not have millimeters on it, get the number in inches and multiply it by 25.4.

For example if the tape measure reads 5 1/2" convert this to a decimal or 5.5 and multiply it by 25.4. 5.5x25.4=139.7. Round this number to 140. So your rim bolt pattern size is 4/140.

What about swapping out the M hubs for TRX hubs? I put TRX450R hubs on my 200S(4/130) so I could use 200X(4/110) rims. Just a thought.

Brain not in gear..measure!!

I thought about the hub swap idea but didn't know which 4/110 machines had the same splines!!

The 300EX/400EX hubs will give you a little more width too. TRX hub on the left, 200X hub on the right:
