So, I've been toying with the Idea for awhile now, I think I have seen every forum post on this and several other sites about Missile builds.
I figure I can use this thread to brainstorm and get community feedback to aide in creating a viable machine.
I have a few bits around that include:
an '89 CRM 250 MK1 that I blew up doing 90 on the highway, I pulled off the pipe and the power valve puked out metal shards at me. so I'll assume the motor is dead and its not cost effective to fix. This bike is in great shape and has a lot of parts, including street legal lights. that I dont mind scavanging
I have a TRX250? motor semi auto with reverse, runs strong looks nice too.
I Just got a rear hub/brake assembly from a tr200 (still need tire and rim and swingarm though) I also need an Axle that fits, or another source.
I've got tons of misc. parts from various ATV's and other bikes.
I've considered making my own swingarm and using a jackshaft to use a wider tire, but I'm not sure If it's really necessary.
And I've got 3ww to help me find the rest.
