So the owner of my local honda shop got ahold of me on sunday and told me about a farmer who had a bunch of trikes he wanted to get rid of, so I contacted him and low and behold I came home with a 1982 185, a 1985 125m, a 1984 110, and a 1979 90. I plan on parting out the 90 as it has a toasted frame and a rotted out fuel tank plus the carb is destroyed. I will be repairing the 110 and 125m, and selling one of them to a friend for his kids. And the 185 I will be transplanting the motor into my wifes 81 200 till I replace her top end, then I will be restoring the 185 and either selling it or keeping it for the herd. I will be adding pics tomorrow when I get off work but for now lets just say for the most part they are all in fairly decent condition except the 90. the 185 tank is almost perfect on the inside and only has a couple of crease less dents on the outside. so anyone interested in 90 parts let me know as it has decent original plastics on it, and the whole trike is there, they all came complete.

Any cracks in the front fender of the 90? Could use a good one with mud flap.

thanks sp8twn, and hublake the front fender isn't the greatest which you can see from the pics, but it's functional, so let me know if you want it still, will work for a daily rider.

I will pass on the front fender as the one I have is not the greatest.

Great score, Brandon. Your Yamaha 225 is going to start feeling pretty lonely, don't you think?

I might sell it make me an offer on it and we'll go from there, the 185 is actually in really good condition, and the tank is pristine inside which surprised me to all heck.I have thought about restoring the 185 later but if I am swapping the motor to another trike tomorrow, and the other motor needs a top end job it might be awhile till I get it fixed up, and then I will probably change it over to a yamaha plastic tank like I did to my 81 200. Like I said make me an offer, and I might just part it out later, so let me know if there are any other parts you are needing for your restore, as my landlords are looking at me like I'm insane right now with 10 trikes in the yard lol

How is the harness on the 90? Coil?

well I either have a stuck valve or the timing chain adjuster went on my 225 yesterday, my yammi had the normal tick to it and while I was out riding it all of the sudden changed to a really loud metal banging tick. So now I have to pull the motor and open her up. I will be going over the bottom end as well while I have it open, as I want this to be the last time I do this for awhile but I am still parting out the 185, and the 90 as source funds for my 225dx. At least this time someone who cares will be going through this motor and repairing everything unlike the guy before me who half assed it.

Missing the 110 fender storage compartment lid? I've seen one in real life, guy down the road has one on his 110 rotting in his yard.
Nice score!

So I pulled my 225 dx motor today and found out what the racket was, the valve tensioner nut backed itself of on the intake valve. I adjusted and tightened that up and then proceeded to pull the top end. My original cylinder was wore and allowing oil to pass by the rings, my spare is in great shape so I honed it and change out the piston and the cylinder. Put all that back together and timed the motor right this time as it was one tooth off when I checked it before pulling the top end. After re assembling I pulled the stator cover and found that the stator and alternator had some thing get in between them and gouge them, so I sanded them down a little and now my electric start puts out spark again. I had to repair one of the studs to my carb, and found out that reinstalling the rear end is a royal pain in the butt. So in 10 hours I pulled it down to the frame and rebuilt my motor then put it all back together again, so a job well done to me lol Plus I repaired the oil drain plug bolt which was seized because of a damaged thread in there.
