As the title says, how is it removed? By looking at diagrams it looks like it should just slide ofg, am I missing something here? Once it's off i can remove broken bearings, replace them and get my Tri-Z running again. Thanks for any help!

you have to split the cases to replace the bearings... and you need to buy a fly wheel puller .. thats the only way.

Thanks for that, I have already tried using a bolt puller kit which does the same job but the thing just wouldn't budge, it's been sitting for over a week and still nothing even with WD40. As for splitting the case I already knew that but thanks for saying as I may not have known about it.

You need one of these and you need to know how to load it up with force and rap it with a hammer straight on to free the part. Don't risk your parts with other styles of pullers.

Buy the correct puller for the application for under 20.00. With a rubber mallet and under pressure from the right puller...a few whacks and it should come off. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Motion-Pro-Flywheel-Puller-Yamaha-Banshee-350-Blaster-200-Tri-Z-YTZ250-YTZ-250-/200720612664?pt=Motors_ATV_Parts_Accessories&hash=item2ebbe17d38&vxp=mtr Good luck..
