i would say either your float is set to high or needle isn't seating properly but thats just my guess

My Bike Was Doing This....It Was That Screw On The Side,I Don't The Name Of It,But Is The One Use To Drain The Carb...It Was Lose By 1/4 Turn.....I Don't Know But Maybe Thats The Case Here Too..!! Hopes That Helps

Yeah, I agree, either the drain screw is loose, or the needle and seat assy is not sealing.

Sounds like the needle valve assembly, adjust, or replace it.

i have a 85200x and my carb just started doing that after i cleaned it out with gumout, i bought a new needle , from the floater and it still does the same thing, it seems that ITS not closing off the fuel flow tho the carb right and it just comes out throught the hose. if u guys find out whats wrong lemme know cause im stumped

got mine fixed.....thanks guys for the help....i took it completely apart and cleaned it again .......but i think what the problem was the "float valve" was not seating properly.......85200xryder....what i did was adjust the little tab that the valve rides on......it is attached to the floats.....i just bent it a little bit so that when the floats level out when the bowl is full of fuel...the valve assembly gets pushed down a bit more cutting off the flow of fuel.....good luck...and i hope the explaination is accurate....if not i am sure someone will correct me....... ;)
