I was wondering if anyone else has had trouble with a Rick's stator not fitting a Tecate 250. I bought one, and it ended up being too wide when I installed it, it didn't leave enough room for the flywheel to be tightened up, the flywheel hit the stator with a half turn of the crankshaft locking bolt . I laid the two stator's the old, and new, side by side on their base, and the new Rick's stator was about an eighth of an inch taller. Was there more than one stator made for these bike's?:wondering
