Klt250 police what r they worth

Ive been looking for one to put in the LAPD museum, I've found one that was owned and used by LAPD, but he wants 2500 for it, it's missing some pieces and the seat is ripped up bad lastly fender are past restoring and rear has been cut up. What do you think is a fair price for it,as the museum doesn't want to pay 2500 plus cost to restore it.

Sounds fair to me. You'll pay $5000- $8000 for a very nice one...

I never seen one sell for that much. I figured in todays market 2500 for a mint one would be a reasonable price. It's up to the museum if they really want it that bad. It's out of my price range at 2500:(. Can u even get fenders for it. All the other klt fenders are long gone.
