clutch slipping

THe clutch seems to be slipping. I only notice it when I try to get on it and the bike just makes noise with very mild acceleration. works fine in 1st gear but really noticeable in 2nd and 3rd. is the bike just a slopoke (slowER than normal) or is the clutch going? I held the rear end off the ground and the wheels spun with ease (from my hand) so its not bearings or the differential or any thing else I know of. What else could it be? The trike is an SX

Does the engine seem to be kinding revving up as your just going along? IF your going, and holding throttle steady, but the rpm if fluctuating that would be a slipping clutch.

something like that has happened to me before after i changed the oil, then put too much back in.
