Ok guys. I am more of a Honda guy so I need some help identifying the manufacturer on two parts I picked up recently. The first is a billet hub for a Tri-z, it is used to convert the Tri-z to a 10" rim, any ideas of the manufacturer? The second is a +2 swingarm which I believe is a Durablue, but could use confirmation. The last picture is the Tri-z that the parts came from. Also, Does anyone know if there was an aftermarket under the seat airbox created for a Tri-z?
Thanks, xrider

Cant help you on the hard parts ID..
UFO made an underseat airbox for them back in the day. There was a guy that found a Z with one on there in rough shape. All his pics have been deleted in that post. I think I remember offering money and a free part to secure his, and send it to Maier to have them re-popped back then..He declined. Pretty sure someone else offered to repop it too.

Hub looks like a Jon kite (missile engineering) one to me. He made hubs just like that.

Good Call Billy. This Tri-z is out of Wichita, Kansas, close to where Jon Kite is located. I'll give him a call today to discuss it.

That missile hub may be seen quite a bit more here real soon:naughty::naughty: Right Raffa;) Xrider unless John Kite from missile made various versions for the Tri z...the one you have appears not to be the one listed in the literature I just received from him. Similar....but not the same. Maybe an early version or a homemade version by someone else?? Wanna sell tht swingarm????? lol,,,, Cool parts!! Thanks for sharing

That is 110% a DURABLUE swingarm. I own a NOS one. However I am missing the brackets for the linkage... Care to make a paper tracing of those? I have been looking for years now for those brackets. I would be extremely gracious. Please PM me if so.

I'll be glad to make a tracing for you. I'll have to disassemble it for powder coat anyway. My plan is to restore the Durablue swingarm and sell it, since I already have a CALFAB on my Tri-z. The JP Aluminum Tank will be for sale as well. I got a killer price on both of them and figured I could make a buck. I will be keeping both the hub and an old school extended axle I picked up for use on my Tri-z.

If you guys are doing a run on the missle flat track kits, see if Jon Kite can set up the rear hubs for the new Kart Bolt Patterns. I have one of his kits for the 200x and it is almost impossible to find the old Trophy wheel halves. Just an FYI. I might be interested in another kit as well if you are looking for more people.

I'll be up at my garage later this week and can grab a set for measurements. It is a 2 piece 6" rim with a 3 on 3.95" bolt pattern. If they can be made into a 1 piece rim, a 7 - 8" width would be ideal.

Jon Kite no longer has any of the Trophy wheel halves, I have called him several times in the past looking for leads on them. Unless he is setting the hubs up for a different pattern, it will be difficult to source trophy wheels.
