is it like a cigarette lighter adapter?

It is a 12 volt connection and would power roughly the same output as a cigarette lighter..

I too have never seen any 12v accessories that plug into it because it is an uncommon connector..if it's of use to you then cut the leads and wire in a cigarette socket you could buy from any auto supply store.

Then you could run things like a portable tire air pump.

It's for the Hondaline Worklight (it's a little more than halfway down the brochure).

Here's one on an 87.

I took two male, square or rectangle wire connectors and plugged them in. The fit perfect. You can then connect them to a cigarette lighter if you choose. I used mine to hook up an additional light. This mod worked perfect because I didn't have to cut, molest, or change anything on the trike.

The stock power outlet connects with a couple bullet type connectors up in the headlight. You could remove the two mounting screws and unplug the wires and stash the stock outlet away for future use then get a cigaretter lighter type outlet with a weather cover and mounting bracket on it and mount it in place of the stock outlet reusing the screw holes then crimp on a couple bullet connectors and plug in up in the headlight and your done. I have done this on a few.

Just keep the current draw low. Remember with the headlights off you only have about 5 amps to work with, with the lights on you will just drain the battery with anything more than an amp draw on that outlet.

The alternator on the ES has a 200watt output..

Find out what the wattage requirement of your speaker is and you will have your answer.

Ahh yes thats right, brain fart... The 250 has a 200w alternator, so roughly 15amps. I was thinking the 200 which only has a 60-70w stator, i forget the exact number.

You can't power really big stuff off it, and if your lights are on you diminish your capacity, but its convenient to have. If your lights are on your loosing 30-50w just to run the lights.

I took off my good plug and used a trashed one to wire in a cigarette lighter. I run a million candle power spotlight, no problem...
