I'm trying to get the rear end figured out on my 84 250r. I know I have an 84 frame and swingarm. I've got 83 and 84 shock linkages and motor mounts. But I am not sure about my shock. I know there are differences in the parts I listed below (this is from looking at ebay, so I could be off), but what about a difference in the shocks. The shock I have has threads in one of the bottom mounts. The bolt that goes through my linkage and dog bone is too big to fit through my shock mount. But it is the same size as the hole on the 83 linkage. I have a 2nd generation shock for sure (hose comes out the side and the canister doesn't have the metal mounts). Just wondering were there any differences between the two years.

Here are the differences I have found (please correct me if I'm wrong):

83 Linkage: http://www.ebay.com/itm/1983-ATC250R...#ht_543wt_1037

84 Linkage: http://www.ebay.com/itm/83-84-Honda-...ht_2602wt_1037

83 Motor Mount: http://www.ebay.com/itm/1983-HONDA-A...ht_2574wt_1052

84 Motor Mount: http://www.ebay.com/itm/84-HONDA-ATC...ht_1167wt_1037 (look at 2nd pic)

83 Swingarm: http://www.ebay.com/itm/OEM-SWINGARM...#ht_500wt_1288

84 Swingarm: http://www.ebay.com/itm/84-HONDA-ATC...ht_4732wt_1037 (notice the difference in the linkage mounts above the carrier)
