I like your pullstart idea. It should fire up like pulling on a 110, maybe easier? Should be a very fun, lightweight machine!

Thanks guys, no the jig is not welded to shaft mate it slides over the countershaft.
Yeh itll be real easy to pull i think should be a fast little bugger. These cr's are rated at around 34 hp there torque curve would be somewhat small though im thinking lol

Nice! I've got a 200x roller I picked up from a buddy that I was trying to think of what to do with. I wanna see how this thing turns out, I might do something similar! Love it.

Oh ok i see, very cool i wonder what that thing would pull over like i remember my buddies yz125 being very tough to kick i bet it will be an awesome woods machine

I always wondered about this combo as many may have. 1gen frame with the single down tube up front makes for more room. The pipe and mounting + kicker issues keeps me at bay. I'll be watching this build fo-sure, keep us posted, thanks fer sharing.

Thanks guys. The pull start i dont think will be very hard to pull over. The down tube im tossing up jigging up the frame and cutting out the down tube and replacing it with a custom one for clearance for pipe,That or milling a kinda alloy wedge to come off the cylinder to send the exhaust spigot a different way like out to the side ill have to see.
Other question is has anyone attempted usd forks on one of these x's i wanna do it just alittle worried about the frame and how they are pressed together and welded just for strength thats all but ill sort that out when i get to it.Its not for mx or anything i only ride sand so probably not worth it well see.cheers guys ill start adding photos to this thread as well.Might have some more tonight.

I like it! Those are gonna look good on that frame. Honestly I think thats the easiest solution 2nd to cutting a 3 inch section out of the down tube and putting a 2 inch long section of 3 inch wide steel pipe in its place, and running the exhaust header through that.
