So I've had this one for a few years now but have only done a few add ons but it's time to fresh'n it up. These pics are from the original owner before I even purchased it. I don't plan on changing it much. Leaving it to be true to how it was built but it will get some pretty trick accesories added to it. The motor will get a freshening up too. It is already built to 172cc's to my knowledge but I'll open it up and see for myself. I sprayed some aircraft paint remover on the Sprint frame and like I thought...the original gold zinc is in awsome condition under the black spray paint!

All I did was spray Aircraft paint remover on the whole thing and pressure washed it off. It's almost perfect. Just one more time and all the paint in every little crevis will be gone!

Looks like a 61mm bore. I didn't measure the stroke yet but I'm guessing 58. Suprised to see such a mild cam in this thing. I'll probably end up putting a BAPP race cam with roller bearing in its place. I plan on freshing the top end up with at least new rings if I can locate some. Also I will pull the clutch cover off and replace plates. Clean it up and add a vented dipstick and bolt it back in.

From the look of the original pics, the trike doesn't appear to be anything special. But now that you exposed the frame and told us the displacement, that thing must have ripped! Wonder why it never had paddle tires on it?

It's a dead give away when you see a SL90 clutch and no Hi/lo box along with a pauter cylinder, BAPP stinger exhaust and HD BAPP chain tensioner! This thing was loaded with goodies. Those old style knobby tires had great floatation in the sand and with little air pressure they had the plenty of traction without loosing the power to some paddle tires.

Did a little more diggin last night.
60mm piston, 58mm stroker
Piston is an Arias brand. Have to do some checking into them. Here's their website.....

I got the rutt ryder hoop out to get chromed and the forks out for powdercoat.
Leaning toward restoring these turbos for this build.
The other picture is what it looked like recently before teardown.
And here's a cool old pic from 3wheeling that I thought you'd like!

Decided on white for the powdercoat. Not sure yet if I will go with the stock tank or a white fiberglass. The white low pros are not going to be on this build. Going with a standard 90 fiberglass fender so I can run a polished support plate.

Need to make an exhaust mount. Also looking for new replacement shocks for the rutt. They've seen better days. Anyone know where to find any???? Been searching eBay but have had no luck..

You beat my guy to it with the PCCC wheels being polished. I gave him that front set up I bought. He has had them for 6 weeks now. I never bug him cause if I rush him they don't come back mirror finish.
Looking great!

Looking good! I wish I would have painted my turbos instead of leaving them polished.
