has anybody ever tried the bottle jack against the foot peg method for straightening bent forks?

I can not see that method working well, not to say someone has not done it and it probally worked for them, maybe. best way is to remove the forks and do it in a press. I have staightened about 8 sets this year already. goes really easy just take your time.

We chained a tri-moto to a tree and pulled on the forks with a truck lol.

As said the press is the way to go .
