New trike showed up today

bought this KXT250 off a guy in michigan, a very cool fellow trikeboarder was able to pick it up, and drop it off at a shipper for me. :Beerchug
It's all original, minus the twist throttle (someone put a thumb throttle on it :evil: ) Probably the most exciting thing to me is that the OE front tire is in almost new condition (these tires have long since been discontinued)

Time for a tear-down, and ground up resto/upgrade. So this will serve as the "before" picture

it didn't seem like it took much time for you to get it ange once it was dropped off,,, that's great !
what all you have in mind of doing to it anyway,,, ? heck it looks decent enough as pictured.

I have some old race parts that I have been accumulating.
It will get the frame re-sprayed/powder coated along w/ a few other parts.
The proper throttle back on etc. a few minor details.
Douglas rims all around, 8" in the rear w/ 18" tires (vs. the 10" balloons on there now) and a few other little things. Should look "new" and full of vintage race parts in a couple months..
Then it will be off to the dunes.
