I need to know multiple torque specs for the top end and what the cam timing needs to be. If anyone has a service manual or any idea about the assembly phase of this engine please let me know.

thanks monroe mike for the help, got the little 160 all buttoned up after pullin the topend to find a layer or arizona dust "that was thick enough to keep it from turning over" and looks to have accumulated over about 10 or 15 years. other than cosmetics this machines engine and drivetrain are like new from the looks and sound of it. the reverse works smooth and the lights are still shining bright. had to switch to a newer 26mm mikuni carb which doesnt fit so nicely with the boots but gets the job done. hopefully the guy im getting this running for will part with it for cheap

Heres all the pics i have. most of them are before i did anywork except the ones with the new mikuni. Couldnt get any parts for the original carb so i had to strip all the old stuff off and work this new carb into the project. All i did was clean the dirt out of the top end and put it back together the oil was even good. I need to find an air filter assembly and lid.

Not many KLT's out there. I'm collecting parts to redo a 185. Keep us updated on your progress. I may have an extra lid and air filter assembly minus the spark arrester. I bought the mother load of KLT 185/160 used parts off of Howdy at TF. Still haven't had time to go through everything. Let me know if interested. it'll give me an excuse to actually inventory what i got from him.
