here is a few pics of a bandito my daughter and myself have been rebuilding. it was in very poor shape when i found it at a local junk yard. the fenders and tires are just for mock up. its looks like a mini monster truck with the 22" tires.

Looks like you have a nice collection of parts to work with. What size engine are you going to use?

Its a 55mm bore and 58mm stroke. Puts it around 130cc.

Looking good. Once you get a set of fenders done up, you might want one of these! Let me know if you do, I have a few left.

I was working on this earlier and thought I would post some updated pics. I swapped in a 125m motor so my daughter would have E-start, she couldn't pull start the 90 motor. The swap ended up being a pain, but its about done and is a blast to ride.191617191618191619

Oh hey I'm doing this exact same swap right now. 125M into one of my Nicholsons. Why was it a pain? I've yet to see if I have fire or not from trying to get all the wiring in

How well does it wheelie? Lol

There is a ton of wiring lol. I ended ditching the dash plate and wiring the switch on top of the light as the key just to try and eliminate some of the wires. What are you using for a throttle cable?

I was gunna try and ditch as much wiring as possible and try and not have to use the key and all (mainly cause I don't HAVE a key lol)

Was gunna try and use the stock 125 throttle cable. Is it too short? I haven't put the carb on yet cause I need to clean it real good

Between the longer frame and taller bars in came up way short. The exhaust is different too and takes a little imagination to work. As far a wheelies go, the neighbors sort of frown upon that type of activity lol. I will say with a 22mm carb, free flowing exhaust and a mid level cam that it runs pretty good. Lost a little on the bottom end, but the top end rips. It really surprised me how well this little motor took to some simple mods.
