Just curious if there are any suspension upgrades for my little 200? I have recently been jumping my 200x alot and not often but have been getting big air. At Smith Road on July 4th, I was getting more air than I thought I ever would. In the past few weeks I've noticed my suspension creaks a tid bit, not to much. I can hear it when I jump but not so much when I bounce up and down and would like to get better suspension for bigger jumps because I never thought how fun jumping is, or is stock good enough? Once at Smith Road on the large table top I actually bottomed out and when I hit the little table top after it I bottomed out and felt my foot touch the ground.... Scary stuff.
So are there any upgrades?
And if I grease my suspension again, will the creaking disappear?

You can toss on a larger front end and get a WORKS rear shock for it. Progressive springs are SWEET!
I love the 86/87 200X; You have to be willing to get out your wallet though.
Talk to Mickey, he can do it all but he charges a bit and it's well worth that one payment............

I can't believe there are not more of us! This 200x is a serious blast. My 250r will stomp it (and I have been stomped many times) but its much more fun to ride than my 250r! I love it!

Maybe YOUR 200X will get stomped, but mine is near and neck with a built 350X.
My 350X is just a hair faster WOT as my 86/87 200X. 6th gear pinned for 3/4 mile or so......

im building a 200x with USD forks and prob selection R rear end parts soon after i put to bet some other design issues. I just like the slimness of the 200xs post pics of your shock choice then.

The 200X has plenty of options, more so the 83-85, but I am a 86/87 fan..............

I definetly love the options of the 83-85 but I wouldn't trade my 200x in its condition for a new 450r...
Well... maybe, then I could buy alot of 200x's :D

I'd seriously like to do this upgrade to my "X". SHEESH I can't wait to get it running again! It has a 300 EX rear end and need to fab up a brake bracket for the KX 65 forks that are on it..... MAN I want this thing running!
