I recently picked up a new Clarke plastic ATC70 gas tank for cheap and can't decide what to use for decals. I don't think the factory decals would look quite right on a plastic tank. Or does anyone have pics of it so I could get a visual? I would use 1984 if I went with factory ones. I debated doing a Honda wing or just Honda. Or I even thought about putting the rear "ATC70" fender decal from a 1978 on each side of the tank. Or maybe the tank decals from a 1978 ATC70. Any suggestions are greatly appriciated. Here were some of my ideas.

With time they will begin to bubble on that plastic tank.

Yeah, I'm not worried about that. I've got several XR's with factory plastic tanks with factory installed decals on the tanks. One of which is my 1984 XR500R that I've owned since 1997. Yes the decals are bubbled but its not enough that I'm worried about it and its not getting any worse.

It might not go with your build, but I have always like the looks of the Elsinore Gold wing.
